Today I realized that a person of my team was finishing his mission after being for a month away from home, to train a team and prepare a business project. He did a great job, a fantastic job. I sent him an email not only congratulating him but also saying thank you for what he did, becoming an example for everyone.
It took my only 5 minutes to write the email, an email that I really believed in. But for him, it meant a lot: i motivated him as much as I planned. Before I had a great professional, committed, and enthusiastic. Now I have an amazing team player, happier than ever, and willing to be sent to an other project when needed. Isn't that amazing?
